Fair housing
Entrust Investments, LLC is an equal housing opportunity provider. Housing is offered without discrimination, and applications are considered against written criteria applied the same way to every applicant.
Protected classes
Federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of the classes below, and the Tennessee Human Rights Act adds creed. Entrust does not discriminate on any of these grounds, in advertising, in showing a property, in considering an application, in setting terms, or in the management of a tenancy.
- Race
- Colour
- National origin
- Religion
- Creed
- Sex, including gender identity and sexual orientation
- Familial status
- Disability
How applications are considered
Screening criteria are published before an application is accepted, and every application is measured against the same criteria in the order applications are received. Criteria describe the application, never the applicant.
Reasonable accommodations and modifications
A person with a disability has the right to request a reasonable accommodation in rules, policies, practices or services, or a reasonable modification to the unit or common areas. Requesting one is a right, not a favour, and a request will not affect an application or a tenancy.
Assistance animals are not pets. A request relating to an assistance animal is handled under this section and not under any pet policy, and no pet fee, pet rent or pet deposit applies to one.
Requests go to contact@entrustinvestments.com or (615) 488-8784, in writing or by phone, and in any language. Supporting information is requested only where the need is not obvious, and only to the extent the law permits.
If something has gone wrong
A concern about discrimination can be raised directly with Entrust at contact@entrustinvestments.com. It can also be taken to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which accepts complaints independently of Entrust, at hud.gov/fairhousing or 1-800-669-9777, and to the Tennessee Human Rights Commission.
